Bot farms are networks of fake or automated Telegram accounts used to artificially inflate channel subscriber counts. Channels with high bot percentages show low ERR because fake subscribers never view content. Bot detection is possible by comparing subscriber count to average views — legitimate channels typically achieve 10–40% ERR. Telegram periodically removes fake accounts in 'purges'.
