Telegram Username (Personal)

A Telegram username is a unique @handle (e.g. @yourname) that identifies an individual user account, letting people find and message them without knowing their phone number. It's set in Telegram's own Settings and is distinct from a channel username — a channel has its own separate @handle used for its public link and Telegram Search visibility, unrelated to the channel owner's personal username. A user or channel without a username set can still be messaged or found via invite link, but won't appear in Telegram's public search.
