Growth

Churn Rate

Percentage of subscribers who leave a channel over a period.

Churn rate (or subscriber loss rate) measures how many subscribers leave a Telegram channel over a given time period. Average churn for active channels is 1–5% per month. High churn indicates poor content quality or mismatch with subscriber expectations. Tracking churn alongside growth rate gives the true 'net growth' of a channel.

Formula

Churn Rate = (Lost Subscribers / Total Subscribers) × 100%
